Sodium hypochlorite can be used for drinking water disinfection and for chlorination smaller amounts of water with less risk compared to chlorine gas. This is a solution is availablle with 90 to 150 g /l effective chlorine content. The Sodium Hypochlorite solution is taken out of a transparent tank with dosing pumps and will be feeded directly into the water flow. The whole plant can be easily built into existing systems subsequently. The leaching of drinking water with higher pH values can be prevented with the help of two dosing pumps and the simultaneous dosage of hydrochloric acid. Depending on the flow capacity, the applied dosing pumps ensure a normal pressure of 4.5 bar.
